Do i get more quality if i play game at 1080p or there is negligible difference in quality even if i play game at 720p?

playing at 720p instead of 1080p will defintely give you more fps. but, it also look worse, just how much tho, i wouldnt know.

I am going to play indie 2d games with 65fps lock performance is not major issue.
just i want to know how much quality difference there would be between downscaled 720p from 1080p vs native 720p ? 🤔
