Hey there!

This is my system:
Ryzen 5 5600x
Gigabyte B550 GAMING X V2
G.Skill Ripjaws V F4-3600MHz x 4 (32 GB total)

I had the XMP profile enabled before and it was already running with 3600MHz, when I came back from a vacation and turned my PC back on I was greeted with the "New CPU installed" ftmp promt. When I disabled ftmp in the bios, I noticed my ram was now running with 2133MHz again, but both enabling the XMP and setting the System Memory Multiplayer to 36.00 manually does not bring the RAM back up. When saving and exiting, the PC tries booting twice (audible by the PSU clicking) before it actually starts. I've just updated the bios, issue still persists. Also my GF has the exact same setup without issues. Any ideas? 🙏

Anyone 🥺

glossy aspen
#

see the chip on motherboard in Amazon might say up to 4600mhz but on specific model of ram and single dimm

#

so u see them 4 dimms.
up to 4600mhz.
KEKW

#

for gigabyte u can see the support hidden deep in their webpage>support> then find ur motherboard> then support list > download pdf and search ur kit

#

so ur support list under Vermeer family

#

so for G.skill only 2 dimms supported up to 3733 speeds

#

with xmp enabled

#

but could be ur ram is 1 rank so maybe could run all at that speeds
