Hello!

Specs:
Gigabyte Z690 UD DDR4
i9 13900K
BIOS Version F22

Problem:

CPU Upgrade - Motherboard (BIOS), I switched to the "Gaming" mode which disables all E-Cores and only leaves on the P-Cores, currently i'm trying to switch back to the "Default" mode which is 8 P-Cores and 16 E-Cores but everytime I try to save and exit the bios, it freezes at this point (reference image). https://imgur.com/a/vU2IXqs

I tried; turning on/off XMP, turning on/off Secure boot, turning on/off Fast boot, Bridging CLR_CMOS which reset the bios.
I also reinstalled Windows off of a USB Stick but to no avail.

If any of you need more information please ask, i'm absolutely out of ideas on what to do.

I only manage to boot in the "Gaming" preset, i tried every other preset already but it didn't work.

Sometimes i manage to boot into windows, but only a couple of minutes / seconds later it freezes (it only manages to boot after a long time of not switching bios profiles)

Rma the processor?

#

Could be broken pins?

#

Sounds like you got a bad e cores happening based on what you are telling me

#

So rma it as you have guarantee and check the connection if pins are weird or bent
