#Slow boot into Windows 10 with 6 displays connected to GPU

I posted this on the forum but it hasn't gotten any traction.

We recently build two new media server at work, but we are having issues with them taking a LONG time to boot into the Windows desktop.

Unfortunately I'm not really sure where the issue is, but boot times with 6 outputs connected is about 4 minutes, 2 minute and 30 seconds for 4 displays connected, and only 20 seconds or so with 1 display.

Here's some of the relevant hardware:
CPU: i7-11700k
GPU: AMD Radeon Pro WX9100
Motherboard: ASUS Pro WS W680
RAM: XPG 32GB Lancer RGB DDR5 6000 MHz UDIMM
SSD Boot: WD 1TB WD_BLACK SN850X
SSD Data: WD 4TB WD_BLACK SN850X
Windows 10 Enterprise LSTC 21H2 19044.2846
AMD driver: Pro Edition 23.Q1

And tips or ideas of how to speed this up would be amazing.

Why do you need 6 displays connected to one server?

Have you tried plugging monitors into the motherboard instead of the GPU? Specifically for screens which won't be doing any 3D rendering

Its a Dataton Watchout media server. The 6 outputs need to come out of the GPU. We normally use all 6 outputs on events, and we cant boot the server up with just one connected, the connect the remaining 5. All 6 have to be plugged in at boot

Are you experiencing any other slowdowns aside from the boot time?

It's quite rare for a GPU to fully support 6 outputs at once, so honestly I'm not surprised it takes longer to boot. Windows likely isn't expecting the GPU to be carrying so many outputs.

One thing, and its probably related. In the Watchout software, when I try to load a show that has a different frame rate set to it, it causes the server to completely freeze, possibly crash.

We have two other servers that are older, but use the same GPU, but older drivers, Windows 10 version, and older CPU. We have not updated those since we have found a good combination of drivers that work well are are reliable. They do not have these kind of issues. They boot up right away with 6 outputs connected, and can change settings like frame rate with no issue.

Shot in the dark, but maybe its a power setting somewhere? Like the GPU is going into a low-power mode? We absolutely DO NOT want that. No power saving modes at all...EVER, but I think I have disabled anything that might cause that.

Unless you have GPU tuning software installed & applying a weird power config, no, there's shouldn't be any low power mode
Just ensure that windows power settings is set to Performance.
I would try using DDU in Safe Mode to reset the drivers

Windows power settings are set to performance, and we have tired DDU about a dozen times at this point. no change
