Hi all, been having an issue and it's making me pull my hair out since I have no idea how to troubleshoot it.
About a month ago or so, my system froze while playing a game (Final Fantasy XIV), but audio was still playing. I thought it was a once-off since it stopped occurring after a single reboot. Then, about a week ago it happened again, three times in a row.
What happens is that during intensive (FFXIV is not that intensive, so idk) moment, the system just completely freezes. I get no more output from the GPU (it stays the exact frame it froze on) but I can keep getting audio (Discord video chat, video game music). The game definitely crashes the render thread though, as song changes and other sounds don't occur in-game. A few days ago I ran a suite of benchmarks and system tests such as memory tests, graphics card benchmarks and CPU benchmarks and was not able to freeze the system again. Any ideas for troubleshooting would be appreciated.
