#Pc won't turn on
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
I've tried to :
-Reapply the ram
-Reapply the thermal paste
-Switch the cpu and gpu
-Cmos battery reset
-Rearrange the cables
Sometimes it would boot on just fine, remain stable for a few hours and then dies again
Does it make a click noice or something while it's turning off?
Oh
Everything just turns off
Try removing the power cord and reseatting it
Ight
@inner parcel resetting doesn't work
I switched it with a different one yet it doesn't work
Also xigmatek is a rather old brand so you might not recognize it
Comes with a box
Firstly, remove every power associated cables from the components. Then connect one by one. So that you can figure out what's causing the issue
How'd you know what's the issue just by resetting the cable?
Is there any lights or ways to figure it oit
Connect the cpu pin and mb pin
That's enough to power the pc
Leave GPU and HDD if using
If you have cpu with igpu, connect the HDMI to it
The mobo doesn't have a HDMI port so I can't really do anything
Yeah, display will be visible :D
Ow :(
Then leave the pc and check if it's turning off
My first pc build experience was horrendous
I expected them to boot up just fine but
I was wrong
All the parts are new yet issue occur
Yup it can be a rollercoaster 😩
Literally only a few days old
You sure nothing got static short?
I mean you did the build by grounding yourself right?
Ig
The light, cooler fan, gpu and psu fan spin
Alr but this time it died or you killed it?
It died
Yesterday was like an achievement, it manage to stay alive for 2 hours and 45 minutes
50-70 celcius degree
Should I take this pc to a technician?
Most probably yeah
Was just checking if it was cpu.
