#AIO makes grinding noise

First the AIO starts making grinding noises and after few seconds, the monitor gets turned off followed by the PC a few seconds later. I opened, cleaned the fans and placed the case flat to eliminate air bubbles after looking at youtube. It still does not seem to work.

How should I proceed from here?

Worst case i take it to the shop and get it fixed, but it takes a lot of time since i live far away. But if there is some other simple way, i would like to give it a try. Note that I only have a single phillips screw driver with me.

Help is much appreciated! Thanks

There is no fixing AIO's, only replacing them.
How is the radiator placed in relation to the pump block? If the pump/block is above the radiator ports, then it's likely some air bubbles fucked the pump

pump is placed below the radiator

I have tried tilting the case to some angle and shaking it

I guess its time that I just replace it

How old is the AIO?

#

This is why I generally advise against them. Reliability is a fraction that of air coolers

It seems like the AIO pump broke and your cpu is overheating causing your pc to shut down to save itself.

What brand of AIO is it? @valid pine

Yah, I'll also have to say, toss it and get a new one. If you really wanna dig deep, hook it up to an old system and start testing it out. I'd hate to see it splooge all over your current system.
