Hello, after clicking in any part of the screen you see in the image, or trying key combination, the screen goes black. the cursor is still visible and it moves. After a while, the black screen disappears and the lock screen appears again. Combinations like WIN+P work during black screen work.

I'm trying to reboot in safe mode, but I'm open to more suggestions on stuff to try, or just a better query to use in Google to be able to solve my problem.

The computer is an Acer Aspire E5-571G , and I don't know if Windows 10 is the latest one because it was given to me today with this problem.

If you got nothing to lose , reinstall?

Make a usb stick with a new windows and start from scratch?

It's not my PC, it has a bunch of data inside that must be retrieved before

I managed to fix it by turning it off, on, off, on again by keeping the power button pressed
