#Proper Airflow setup NZXT H500

As for exhaust or intake, you normally want intake for radiator fans, because it makes the dust management a lot easier (you don't have to dismount the fans everytime and can just remove the dust from the radiators front)
Thats space for psu, not a fan

The right orientation is radiator with 2 fans in the front as an intake and 1 rear as exhaust (you can add the top one as an exhaust as well)
The psu fan should be facing down to get fresh air from the bottom
Oh mb you are right
I am too used to my case haha
Let me guess, fractal design torrent?
That will be the next one 😂
Still using my old O11
Everything seems fine. Just note that the green box you drew at the bottom is the psu it sucks in air and pushes hot air out the side. It doesn't push it into the case.
Yea thats what I was thinking, but I have a really shitty case. if you look closely or look at a review of the h500 or h500i it has little to no airflow from the front panel
it has these small holes on the side of the front panel which barely gathers any air
this case was discontinued for a good reason
I just had another thought
So if i have my fans on radiator be intake, it wont be getting much air due to the design of the case
to fix this i was thinking to make the radiator fans exhaust in order to keep heat out of the computer, but i was thinking as if my computer would be only air cooling
now that there is a radiator, if i make the fans exhaust on the back side of the radiator( fan, radiator, front panel) it would be worse for the radiator because that tight area with the exhaust with the already heated water in the radiator would instead create a convection oven in the front panel
proper setup, make more holes
