Temps above 100 degrees in a few mins are not normal
You should check if the fans are spinning and what case do you have?
Yea the spinning and it sounds bad
And also i boosted the fans to 80% max
And its kinda uv becouse itd 1130mv and -5% power draw
And the case is decently airflowed
Sorry for late reply
Your GPU fan might be broken
If you don’t wanna bother replacing broken fans or troubleshooting i recommend just RMAing ur gpu
What noise are you talking abt?
Rattling noise?
Not rly just the fans going high speeds
And the coils are like making noise when Not in vsync
You’re not supposed to hear that in a GPU
Do you have a warranty?
Unless you wanna bother troubleshooting the gpu for damage and fixing it yourself you can just send it back if you have a warranty
I mean its a common thing in gpus and it doesnt dmg it
But idk if its rly that becouse my english is trash but i read Articles abt in my country and its Not damaging ur card
I have a 6900xt gigabyte card with the same issues, you can temporarily solve the problem by under-volting the gpu. It will decrease performance by ~5% but the thermals and power draw should decrease a lot.
I have also changed the thermal paste and it works for 4-5 days before returning to overheating
try these settings for now and limit the power draw
That power tuning might be too low it already hit 32 watt
When that happens you overclock is too low
Should be 116 watt
And higher
this is at idle
i get about 225 watts at full load
at ~975 mv
the 6950xt is just a binned 6900xt so these settings should be fine.
here is what it looks like under load
No?
A buzzing noise is not normal with GPUs
It might just be your translator isk
Idk
