are there any error codes?
did you plug in the CPU power?
Yes. It has two 8 pin connectors
Yes.
do you have a test tool to check wattage (probably not but it could be useful)
No i dont own that.
can you make a video or pictures of you turning it on and such?
ok so its probably not the motherboard and probably not PSU.... try getting all the RAM out accept the one on the left
Same thing.
ok, take off the cpu and check if any pins are weird or shorted
wait
before that
unplug everything accept the power stuff and power button
might be a fan
also the cpu cooler
your cpu shouldn't overhead if you dont have the fan plugged in for a bit
that might be it, like is it pressing against anything?
maybe its shorting
Its that there if you can see it.
its very low res but you can give it a try with tweezers
its weird how the PSU is like half alive
like it does work but only for a bit
maybe it is shorted inside
Want me to take it apart? Can you walk me through fixing it?
Jk jk.
Its a corsair and only like a year and a half old. I dont understand how it died.
If its something i had to pay extra for. I aint got it.
most PSU have a few years on them
@chrome whale sooo uhh. Now its not booting.
Im getting an a0 code.
Does that mean i have to reinstall windows??
maybe, can you get into the bios?
