Holy fuck great point
I didn’t even pay attention to that part
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HXjbmr here is what I might do
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600, Radeon RX 6700 XT, BitFenix NOVA MESH SE TG ATX Mid Tower
only $20 more for double the ram
b550 too, so it has faster pcie lanes
since it looks like it's going to be a gaming pc, you're going to want more than just 500gb of storage
a single game nowadays can take up like 100gb
so I went with 2tb of storage
included stock cooler on the 5600 is fine, but it's a little too loud so it's worth getting a aftermarket cooler to improve cooling performance and lower sound
also you were missing a power supply so I included one
it feels complicated the first time around
but the entire pc building process is
put the cpu, install the ram, put the cpu cooler, install the ssd, put the power supply inside the case, put the motherboard inside the case, connect like 5 cables, then install the gpu
and then press the power button
you can install whichever one you like
might as well go with windows 11 since windows 10 support is ending in two more years
to install windows 11 (or any operating system), you'll need a usb drive with the iso
do you have any usb drives lying around?
like 8gb will do
you'll have to clear the drive in order to install windows, so if you have a bunch of stuff on that drive, then maybe not
oh okay
