The problem is that this monitor does not supports display port
Setting in monitor
Freesync is activated.
It's free sync only
You can try activate gsync with incompatible hardware, by force activating in driver settings

There no use for getting a 2.1 cable
the hdmi interface is 1.4 according to spec sheet
if it doesn't work, it doesn't support then
You would be wasting your money if you buy a new cable just for that
