I started up my computer and have been getting constant blue screen errors after about 5-20 seconds loading into Windows. Every time the error code varies including: KMODE_EXCEOTION_NOT_HANDLED, CRITICAL_PROCESS_DIED, MEMORY_MANAGEMENT, KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE.
Here are my specs:
Ryzen 7700x
Gigabyte RTX 2060
32GB Corsair Vengeance 6000mhz
MSI B650 Tomahawk WIFI

Are you overclocking your memory? @pale furnace

Nope, it's standard out of box. The computer wasn't like this last night. Just happened when I booted it up tonight

I'd suggest like, running your memory at a slower speed [maybe disable XMP] and see if it helps

#

By the errors it looks like it could be memory-related

#

Or it could also be a borked Windows install, I guess.

#

If you have another device I'd suggest installing Windows on a flash drive and reinstalling it @pale furnace

Yeah my guess is it could be a some corrupted files of the Windows install, but I’ll try clicking down the ram first

Windows 11 or 10, btw?

#

Idk for sure but Idk if W10 would handle DDR5 that amazingly

pale furnace
#

Win 10

I suggest using W11

#

It's simply better equipped for DDR5 and AM5 in general

pale furnace
#

Yeah maybe this a good time to upgrade to Windows 11.

And Windows 10's EOL is approaching soon

pale furnace
#

Ok so ram is underclocked to 4800mhz

rain elk
#

Okay

#

🤞

So far so good, I’ll update in case it starts acting up again. Thanks for your help!

Yeah upgrade to W11 then try to get that back up to 6000MHz [as long as your RAM is capable of that] @pale furnace

nope

#

don't do that

#

myt be corrupted files

#

just run sfc/scannow in command prompt admin mode to check for corrupted windows files

#

and remove the cmos battery, and reseat it
( this wipes recent bios settings, setting it to a default value)

KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE:
The Kernel Security Check Failure is one of the stop codes you may encounter when your computer gets the blue screen of death (BSOD) error. This stop code indicates that your computer is experiencing some memory issues, virus infections, software conflicts and driver compatibility issues.

Most likely a bad driver, or Ram issues 🤷‍♂️
