#Can someone link me to Intel IRST drivers for when you're doing a fresh install of Windows? 13th gen

Go ahead then..
idk why you expect people to search stuff for you. Kinda weird request and your response and also original post is a bit disrespectful for people who are helping here on their free time.
you know what drivers you need, so just go on intel site and get the drivers ?
Because I've been googling for hours, and have yet to find them. I'm simply turning his snarky response back on him. If it's so simple, prove it.
So far I've got snarky, now overly sensitive.
i dont need the driver you do
No, I need help.. and quite frankly not yours. :f
woah i found it in less than a minute 🤯 🤯🤯
honestly the first thing you get when you google drivers IRST intel
That gives me an .exe, I need a zip folder giving raw files.
why ?
Because Windows cannot see the NVME when trying to install it.
why and also you didnt specify that the zip is what you were looking for
.. I mean, I didn't think I needed to specify the part a windows executable file cannot be executed while installing Windows.. lol
did you create a partition ? new NVMES and other drives are not detected without creating a partition ofc
go to the disk management tool, you press start and type "disk management"
it should show you this :
press on there
check on the bottom if your disk is there, it should have all unallocated black space
Let me try find my old one..
This is what I'm looking for, but for the 13th generation CPUs.
I don't think setting up a partition like that will work.. but, I'll give it a try regardless. :f
yeah so you would want the installer so it updates you to 13th gen..
i thought you said in your title you did a windows instal?
WHEN.. you're doing a fresh install.
whats the issue of downloading it after finishing windows?
... jesus dude..
@small copper found way to do it
download the exe
extract the exe
extract the exe after the extracted exe
What do you mean
wdym wdym?
lol
so i am not going to comment anymore, you are really really ungrateful and a bit of a *******
Extract the exe as in using 7zip or something on a different PC.. or..
yes
Alright I'll give it a go.
That's fine, I'm not kind to people who don't use their heads. :f
Extract SetupRST
Extract RST_X64 (after extracting SetupRST)
Extract drivers.cab file
itll give you these files
Ah so they've simply removed the separate downloads from the website and put it all into the .exe and put the option there. I see now.. that's weird, and kind of misleading.. thanks Velosofyy. Awesome.
just fyi no current SSD including intels, will need drivers on a windows install, every drive will be recognized and drivers can be installed properly after. But you do as you wish
well according to the "Which file to choose" it say theres a zip file, maybe they deleted it
