Uh interesting noise. Do you have a hard drive in your laptop? Or could you mute your speakers and then reboot your computer? See if it's a speaker issue first.

I don't have a hard drive

as for muting the speakers

#

adjusting the volume level of the active speaker will also lower the strength of the sound

#

so yeah muting mutes it

hence why it's software issue
