I've had an issue for a short while now (1+ week) where my secondary monitor will suddenly disconnect and reset. Sometimes this would happen every few minutes, and I noticed this was especially likely when I was running specific software, such as FL studio. I figured it was to do with the HDMI cable or the monitor itself, and I change the cable finally 2 days ago. I've not really had many issues, but I noticed something very concerning today. I moved my computer a little bit (about 5 centimeters) and BOTH my monitors flickered off for a short moment. I've not had any problems with my main monitor (using DisplayPort) before. Sure enough, moving the computer around a little bit again causes issues immediately to the monitor that had issues before. I've not really noticed any issues in games or with my main monitor before, so this of course comes as rather shocking.
My GPU is not that old either. It's a MSI GTX1080, I've not mined with it or anything, and aside from not taking perfect care of it and sometimes having it on 24/7 (idling), I've not really pushed it that much. My question is: how worried should I be about the GPU dying? Can I do something to diagnose and resolve where this issue might be coming from? Should I start looking for a replacement GPU?
