The Ethernet to it is working, the Ethernet 0-3 is not going out?
Tried switching it, no luck
fam really starts out every support chat with ??? and more spcifics pls
Yeah because we need more details, it’s better to be early confused as later less frustration, coming from an IT specialist. Also it’s free help. so the more information the Bette
yeah but like a maybe a little more approachable rather than just hitting them with the ???
Nah if I get paid to do the job it’s different, also it’s just me being confused by what opening post is saying
The Wan port is working it’s the Lan that’s not, am I getting somewhere? All port forwarding is off
It’s a mini pc not a TP-link or something
Wait you mean the router is a mini pc?
Someone on here has made this work…
Oh 👍🏻 Try to look up that persons post
And ask him? Read the manual?
I do not understand when using its display no internet as in you go to the web browser of the NUC??
What OS do you have on this?
Ok, so have you done the initial setup wizard?
You're not really meant to connect a monitor to it. Almost everything you need to do is done through your browser on a different device
It’s the same ip as my modem though
As in public IP?
Is the ISP modem a combo device that does wifi as well?
Yes
So you're in a double-NAT situation and that can make things a lot more annoying. What's the model of that device? Need to put it in bridge mode if possible
Can I get it out of bridge mode? After?
Okay so I have the ip set to a different one, I need to do a factory reset?
No
I will set it to bridge mode when I get home thanks @true crown
@true crown do I need to set the modem to bridge mode? Bc I haven’t found a bridge mode for the PC
Yes, the modem is what i've been talking about
It doesn’t have a Bridge mode 😦
What's the model of it
It says “broadband connection” where bridge mode should be?
I’m trying that setting
.
CR1000
You have verizon fios?
Yes I have it
Do you have other services than internet with them? If you don't you can just take their router out
It turns off the cable
Okay?
Important info to establish at the beginning of asking for help
I’m not a fan of hey everyone this is my internet setup
People can't help you if they don't have the right info. Just simple facts
Ok so now what’s the next step?
Well now I have no internet at the CR1000
