when i click on file explorer it will flicker my screen and never open, when i right click file explorer and open a file it ends up opening but when i press on home it will flicker and close again, i have no clue on how to fix this and happened after restarting my pc

I know you already restarted your PC and what is what caused this, but, try and restart again to see if it fixes it self?

what i don't understand is everything else in file explorer is working except home

try
sfc /scannow
and see if that finds anything and repairs it
if that doesn't work try
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth

it said it found corrupted files and repaired them but still unable to open so lemme do the other one rq

if those didn't fix it, I'd double check win updates, after that, try a windows reset and choose keep ur files (still suggest u to keep a copy of things u want to keep on another storage device or a cloud drive)

if it's still busted after that, time to do a clean windows install ig

yeah probs best to just do a clean install, if ur using onedrive and all ur files are on there, should be easy to just do a clean reinstall
