Hey there. So for a good while I've had ping spikes in multiple games, for example my latency could be 30ms then it shoots up to 1000ms for a second then back down. I'm thinking it's my internet adapter, it's an ASUS 3T3R DUAL BAND WIFI GO 2.4/5G (i think).

I can't setup a wired internet and I don't really know what to do.

Another thing to note is that sometimes I have a internet download speed of like 150mbps with about the same upload speed. And other times my internet speed is like a download of 13mbps with also the same upload.

I live with my family who say they are fine, but then again they don't game casually soo.

Any help would be great.

Got the same situation before. Definitely not your adapter.
But first and foremost - What's your router in use?

The router is a Verizon/Fios Home Router G3100.

likely, the firmware should be pretty locked down

you can try switching to exclusively 2.4ghz bands on your router or 5ghz it fucked up my router when i used both
