uhhhh, is that not just light from the cpu water block?
thats what it looks like anyway
The camera doesnt do it justice but it full on just seems more transparent now than before. It was way more solid before.
how long have you had it?
About 3 months. Rod from bs mods suggested i flush it every few months, im wondering if its due for one soon?
hmmmmm........im not familiar with custom water cooling......
a quick forum search, and several people say it should last a year
before changing
oh yeah, they may have been using clear
Cant get a more reliable source than rod lmao.
whos rod
He was part of the scrapyard wars video
Yeah one of the reasons I just use clear cooling it can be good for multiple years but if you personally don’t like it it is up to you
It might run fine it’s just an esthetic
I may of figured out what caused it
They sent me an expired bottle from 2021 this past january
it might not have just been that, lots of people have reported issues with any "solid" coolants like this. I personally had EK cryofuel mystic fog in my loop for just 3 months before it started falling out, and as soon as I did, I flushed it out before it clogged up the blocks. the problem now is that all that junk is sitting in your blocks, rads, res, and pump, and there is no real way to get rid of it 100% without taking everything completely apart.
I switched back to clear, and used 2 liters to flush my loop out without taking anything apart, and I still have some bits of the fog hanging on at fittings.
For a show build, its fine, but don't use these fancy coolants in a daily driver, stick with clear.
