Sooo, my memory is always at the 95-100% range everytime i turn it on and it's making my laptop laggy and slow.

I've tried the setting for only performance (mouse shadow, etc etc), deleted some heavy apps

It's smooth or okay when it's idle, microsoft apps, or anything that isn't a game or game platform (roblox or steam).
Since it becomes unbearably laggy/slow when I'm playing games

My specs are Intel i3 10th gen with 1.20GHz, 4gb of ram (i only have 1.75gb usable), it's a 64 but system, and it's in Win 11 (kinda forced to update it so yeah)

probably because your running windows 11 on 4gb RAM

#

windows 11 uses nearly all of that by itself

Get more ram

If possible, yes, get more RAM, 8GB are pretty much required with win11 if you want to have a smooth experience and want to open more than only one app at the same time, let alone playing games

It's a joke, obviously you can't download more RAM,but that's a good opportunity to get people to install your malware or just unnecessary programs

You can go to kingston.com and go to RAM, there you can enter the model number of your laptop and it will show you compatible RAM options. It even lists a few shops where you can buy these sticks, and you'll get right to the buying page for that stick if you click on the shop's icon

Are we talking laptop or desktop here?

#

With a desktop its easy to buy and instal-l new ram, when it comes dowqn to laptops, it can depend. And since OP said they only have 4 GB of ram, i wouldn't be surprised if its a laptop.

#

What i am saying is, don't just buy more ram, before checking, if you even have 1 slot left in your laptop, assuming this is a laptop we are talking about.

it is a laptop which is why esp if you don’t even know where to buy more RAM take it to a local computer store and ask them @verbal sun

yea i expected its a laptop. can you please tell me what laptop? not just brand but also type (usually on a sticker on the bottom of the laptop)

#

this way i can tell you wether its easy to install/replace ram or not

#

cheaper laptops often tend to not have a full bottomplate you can easily screw off

balmy tinsel
#

That's why I suggested the kingston memory checker. this will show you whether you have a free slot or not

if OP has a cheaper laptop without a bottom plate with screws, then its risky without experience. you will have to deal with not only screws, but also clicking mechanisms that you can easily destroy
