Unplug your PC resinsert your SSD

#

If that doesn't work try the other port. You could have a bad SSD or bad port.

#

Unlikely of the port

#

but, its possible.

Shared lanes? I had to move m2 for that reason. Check the mobo manual.

It was all working fine, until I pressed the restart button then it just all of a sudden is t found

It was a long shot. But when I swapped from SATA to M.2 it wouldn't work and after some troubleshooting I found that the mobo had 2 m2 slots and some sata ports. If I had my m2 in one slot i had to move my sata and vise versa. the lanes were physically shared on the mobo and having two devices was no bueno.

i left my sata ssd in sata slot1 when i put my m2 in. long shot, likely not your issue.

check on another port of your mobo to see if it works, if not its probably dead. but theres also a chance both of the ports are dead but very low.
