#GPU Artifacts

What GPU do you have? For AMD GPUs, especially the higer-end ones, it's normal for the hotspot to be up to 25°C higher than the core temp. For NVIDIA GPUs, it's around 15°C usually, anything under it is very good
i have gigabyte geforce rtx 2070 super windorce 3x
so my temps are fine, which i did expect since the fans stay at 80% they dont even go full load
i also would expect that the errors don't just disappear when restarting the game if it is a gpu problem
but i honestly do not know 😄 thats why i ask
If you want to rule out your GPU as the part that's misbehaving, you can try to underclock it, if the artifacts still appear, I'd say it's the game (I do have rather limited knowledge, just keep that in mind)
i got 2 140mm input fans front, 2 140mm output fans, back and top. The case is the pureDX from bequiet. Which has good airflow. I also just ran msi kombustor with artifact scanner and did a few tests.. with no problems whatsoever
so it actually seems the temperature is totally normal and fine, it stays at around 80°C on full load with hotspot going a bit higher but usually staying under 100°C
i also tried to reduce vram clock speed by 100mhz as someone suggested that. No change, still got artifacts after a while, this time even worse actually
sorry for the dark picture it was night in the game
wait you overclock your PC? 🤔
