Is my outlet damaging all my devices? do I need a surge protector PLEASE help I’m desperate ATP

Oh yea forgot the mention. Both PCs and Xbox also made a electrical buzzing noise while playing games. I was told many times it was just coil whine, but I believe its not that simple.

It could be power related have you tried to bring the Xbox to someone’s house to see if it works

And also a UPS is clean power so that might help if it is power related

No I haven’t, but I did try other rooms in the house and the issue continued, and yea I’m tempted to get a ups, but I’m worried I’m just going to spend more money, and still have the same issue.

It could just be game engine related but if it’s also stuttering and stuff it could be power grid I have heard of some older buildings having power problems

I’d recommend to take it to a friends house and ask them if you can try there outlet so you can see if you need a ups and see if it is the power

Def not the game engine happens in every game . Just wanted to give an example of the issues in one of the games I play.

Yeah it could definitely be power grid I remember jay a long time ago asked a guy he was trying to help fix his pc that it wouldn’t happen when jay had the pc but at his house it would then he asked him to buy a ups and it was solved so if you can try the Xbox at someone’s house and it still happens then that’s could mean something more
