registry issues are harder to fix in general, do u have a lot of things installed/saved already or are u ok with doing a fresh windows install? also possible to just rma the laptop with asus since it's a new laptop and (I assume) under warranty

This is my second time with a fresh Windows install on this machine

been using a laptop for a while now and I always immediately do a fresh windows install and never reinstall the bloatware/customization software that ships with the laptop

it auto installed itself after the windows install

Yeah fully wiped/formatted the drive before installation

next time just check dumps with programs like whocrashed not the damn event viewer

#

also clearing the drive and clean install should get rid of bloatware, but gotta make sure you remove the hidden partition with it
