To put this in simple terms, it also depends on the PCI lanes allocated to each NVME slot on your Motherboard. It could be entirely possible that your other NVME slot has lower speed and less PCI lanes allocated , depending on your motherboard this might be your issue

Did you also test the other drive?

Otherwise you have an unknown variable, and we are still none the wiser.

Yes I've tested both in the same software and the read/write speeds are much different on both, WD Black is much faster, but slower with games. I just tested Adata with Dead Space Remake and I have much better frame rate on medium settings than on WD Black with low settings.

I am thinking, maybe I need to remove WD Black and put it back in, maybe slot connection is bad.

I'll do SSD write/read test again, maybe if it's something with slot, then test will confirm that.
