list the parts (specs) of the system with the manufacturers of those parts. cause computer won't start does not say anything. Is it a 386sx-16 system or a 13900ks system?
It’s an old pc I was running for a backup to run some game servers on it is a i7-2600k and an rx 580 16gb ram and an ssd with a 650 evga psu
I can check the motherboard it is in a few if I have to I can just upgrade my main pc to an newer version then move the parts into this but I don’t wanna spend a ton on new parts right now. Waiting for ddr5 to drop in price
does the system receive power? fans spinning etc or what?
nvm shuts off
power on then shutting off could be a power supply issue or motherboard or cpu - easiest thing would be to start with basics of unplugging everything that it not needed - hard drives (sata drives) case fans etc then trying to power it on. symptoms are like it has a short somewhere and is shutting down to save itself.
