So i upgraded my cpu to a 13600kf my motherboard to a ASUS TUF Gaming B660M-Plus WiFi and my ram to Corsair Vengeance RGB CMH32GX5M2B5600C36K

The problems since i upgraded my pc is that when im playing, games are instantly close or freeze up, if they freeze up i can still hear the sounds and can still walk around.

i've done a complete clean windows install and updated every driver.

If you've already done a clean windows install and updated drivers, then it's likely that the issue lies in the hardware itself.

#

you may need to update the BIOS of your motherboard, as older versions may not be compatible with your new components. Additionally, it may be worth taking a look at your power supply to ensure that it is providing enough power to allow your components to function correctly.

okay, the motherboard has a 8 pin + 4 pin connector for the cpu support but i only have 8 installed but i dont think with the 13600kf its a problem right?

Okay, so i was looking on the support site to update the bios, and under the supported ram speeds it says the motherboard only supports 5200mhz, changed that as well, im testing now if thats gonna fix it

Having it higher than the motherboards rated max speed can cause a lot of stability issues

so far no shut downs or freezes:D
