#"Crunchy" audio in Windows 11

basic checklist for stuff like this:
make sure your stuff is fully plugged in. I know you think it is, but double check anyway. this includes on the headphone end as well as on the back of your computer, as well as the onboard audio header if applicable.
Next, update your audio drivers. if the generic ones from windows don't work, usually the manufacturer will have ones on their website, so try those.
Next, this usually wont do a lot, but make sure Windows is up to date. eliminating variables and such.
Next, make sure your speakers / headphones aren't damaged. plug them into another system, test to make sure they work in that system. if they're not working, it's most likely a hardware issue, not a software issue. sometimes the connector is scratched, and that causes crackling and popping.
if none of that works please tell us
How can I update my audio drivers, like how do I find the download for them?
Also, when I go to my laptop's manufacturing website to search for the drivers on my laptop, I'm prompted with this:
When I click the dropdown menu for "What OS do you have?" there is no "Windows 11" option.
try different cables.
make sure your speakers are working.
Try another set of speakers.
I have a laptop
Plus, if it was a hardware issue it wouldn't be noticeable in the video, right?
some drivers dont have a windows 11 version yet
so... what do I do now?
I think it might have to do with the latest windows 11 update, try restoring if you can or reinstalling older version of windows.'
Tbh I'd rather wait until a new version of windows releases, right now I am on Win11 version 22H2, do you know approximately when the next version will release?
What if I just select Windows 10 and download the drivers? Will that break anything?
