My motherboard is an asus prime Z690-A the cpu is intel i5 12600kf
After installing windows I couldn’t connect to Ethernet even though the cable was lighting up. I troubleshooted and it said properly installed network adapter not detected. I tried to download drivers on my external hard drive and install those but they didn’t work. I don’t know what to do next. Please help 😦

Alright so
Install snappy driver installer
And when u first start the program
Click network drivers only
Wherever you downloaded the drivers for the internet
Download from there
And put it on external drive
So I downloaded the installer am I supposed to get the driver packs too
Yes
Just get the network ones
And to be clear I download all that and run it on my new pc
If I don’t want to torrent them can I get the driver packs another way?
I think it’s just by torrent
That is why slow download
Ok Ty will try this and lyk
Ok so I finished torrenting and I couldn’t separate the network drivers from the non network should I install all of them? Also tried installing one of the drivers called Ethernet controller but it failed?
So I just went out and got a WiFi adapter and once I connected to the internet my windows started updating and after that everything was solved thank you for the help!
