I'm not sure theres anything i can do about temps. like i said i've tried changing thermal paste many times. and new pads (i've also tried many different sizes of pads.... nothing works) it still sits at high temp even with an insanely aggressive fan curve
I had a GTX 970 before, worked fantastic, temps and everything. Then that GPU died for no reason and I couldn't afford an upgrade, so I just got a RX 570 which is more or less equivalent. Issue is, the 570 I got had some weird gunk on it, and the plug for the fan was for some reason off of the board ?? so i had to reseat it in place. Also, had thermal pads ripped off, had no thermal paste. Even though seller said new thermal paste and cleaned... so clearly the GPU has quite a few problems
