tribal venture

#

@tender plume

tender plume
#

Did you make sure to completely uninstall iCue?

tribal venture
#

I'm pretty sure. If I didn't completely unistall it, wouldn't it fully unistall with a system reset

tender plume
#

Look up uninstall in windows search, then select the first thing that comes up

#

Go through that and see if it shows iCue

tribal venture
#

No it doesn't

tender plume
#

If you didn't get it fully ininstalled, it will show on there. If it does, right click on it and click uninstall

#

Ok, its fully uninstalled

#

Does the ram show up in Armory Crate?

tribal venture
#

Yes I'm pretty sure

tender plume
#

See if it changes the lights when you change the light mode in there

tribal venture
#

It doesn't

tender plume
#

It may be forced iCue

tribal venture
#

Should I reinstall icue and then set the settings to default?

tender plume
#

I have a few corsair perhipherals, and they only allow custumization via iCue

#

Yeah, go ahead and reinstall iCue

tribal venture
#

Ok I'll tell you when its done my internet isn't the fastest

tender plume
#

Its fine

tribal venture
#

Oh BTW when icue installed for the first time, it asked me to restart it to use it and my pc wouldn't boot passed the mobo companies logo

tender plume
#

Hmm

tribal venture
#

The loading icon wasn't even there

#

This is an image I found, it wouldn't go passed this

#

I couldn't get into bios either

tender plume
#

Have you updated your drivers lately?

tribal venture
#

Yes, I actually did a complete windows wipe about 4 days ago

#

I installed all the drivers I needed

tender plume
#

Ok

tribal venture
#

I think i need to update my bios

tender plume
#

Was about to suggest that

tribal venture
#

But im not exactly sure how to do it

tender plume
#

If you have the manual for the motherboard, it should say

#

Here is the download section

tribal venture
#

Almost done

#

It's opened

tender plume
#

k

tribal venture
#

It said icue has stopped receiving data FROM DRAM, please restart

tender plume
#

Fun

#

See if it does what it did again

tribal venture
#

Very

#

All my ram lighting just turned off

#

I'm fully unistalling it

tender plume
#

k

tribal venture
#

I'm on the latest bios

#

Great now my ram won't even turn on

tender plume
#

great

#

do you have another system you can test the ram in to make sure its not faulty?

tribal venture
#

No

#

Wouldn't the ram light come on?

tender plume
#

Im an idiot

#

Not always

tribal venture
#

Can some of the icue files still be in he windows system files

tender plume
#

Ram can be faulty, but not faulty enough to cause the ram light to come on and the system not to post

tribal venture
#

Mm yes there's 3 I'll delete them and restart

tender plume
#

k

tribal venture
#

Yes that didn't do anything

tender plume
#

What ram is it? Dominator?

tribal venture
#

Vengeance

tender plume
#

Ah

#

According to the corsair website, its Armory crate thats causing it

#

Try uninstalling that and try it

tribal venture
#

Alright

tender plume
#

If its not that, update the ram's firmware via iCue

tribal venture
#

I tried selecting that it said its up to date

tender plume
#

Ok

#

Try uninstalling Armory crate

tribal venture
#

Should I restart?

tender plume
#

yeah

tribal venture
#

Nothing happened

tender plume
#

Did you uninstall Armory crate?

tribal venture
#

Yes

#

I download another rgb software just this moment, signal rgb and it says AacKingstonDramHal_x64.exe is running

tender plume
#

But still no lights?

#

@tribal venture

tribal venture
#

No the lights are working

tender plume
#

Ah, sounds like you got it then
