So, I'd suggest maybe making a new VM in virtualbox, with settings for Windows XP. When you get to the virtual disk portion, Select "Use an existing virtual disk"

then you pick your vhd

#

see if that'll work.

It's possible there's no boot sector on the drive.

To be honest, the chances of those accounts still being cached even if you can get into the OS are kinda slim. Google will probably ask you to re-enter the credentials

not really i was 5 years old then

yea good luck. You might be able to dig some account information out of it if you can mount and browse it
