How did you import it into VBOX?
trough ide controller
Actually better question, how did you virtualize the disk
I think vbox supports that ok.
yea probably not
i dont have sata ahci or ata mode option
Did you create a new blank VM in vbox?
no
Are you just trying to browse it or do you want to boot it?
boot it
Ah ok.
what should i do
So, I'd suggest maybe making a new VM in virtualbox, with settings for Windows XP. When you get to the virtual disk portion, Select "Use an existing virtual disk"
then you pick your vhd
see if that'll work.
It's possible there's no boot sector on the drive.
Best you might be able to do is mount the virtual drive and browse the files
broken?
is there a way i can get my google accounts from there?
like your credentials?
gmail accounts
Ah. You don't remember your passwords
To be honest, the chances of those accounts still being cached even if you can get into the OS are kinda slim. Google will probably ask you to re-enter the credentials
Do you remember what the emails were for your gmail accounts?
really google cant because i changed my passwords phone numbers
not really i was 5 years old then
really hard to remember
ill try everything possible hope i dont break the hdd
i remember it being faulty a lot
ima try to get a vhd file from the hdd again
wish me luck
it could be that it was too corrupt and it didn't virtualize properly
