I tried swapping my gpu with a different gpu but i couldnt because i didnt have enough pcie cables but then when i plugged the old gpu back in my screen isnt showing and the gpu fans turn on and get very loud when i turn on the pc

@sonic blade What you most likely need to do is, whatever GPU you have or using, plug it in and turn on the computer. During the first few moments of turning your computer on, your computer will undergo POST Power-on self-test. It will undergo tests within your motherboard. Making sure you have RAM, GPU, et cetera. I'd just give it a minute and see if you have video.

CMOS battery is a watch-like battery on your motherboard that keeps the BIOS chip alive.

its just weird how ive done the exact same things before and it didnt happen

the only thing i did different was moved the psu cables around but i plugged them back in the same spot

Sort of sounds like something isn't plugged in properly. I'd go over again what you did and recheck the connections, both the card installation and pcie cables on both ends if you have a modular PSU.

the fucking cpu cable thats plugged into the mobo was like not plugged in by 1 mm...
