#Should I get better cooling for my PC?

that's probably thermal throttling
either you installed your cpu cooler incorrectly, the thermal grease dried out, or the internal temperatures of the case is high
I'm thinking that last 2 things are true because my PC is almost 2,5 years old, and it didn't have its thermal grease changed, and back of the case and side window get hot while playing
the cpu cooler is rated for 130 watts, the cpu draws 150 watts under full load. It might be worth checking to see if your thermal paste has been applied properly
or it could be that the cooler isn't adequate enough for the 9600kf
either way, it doesn't hurt to get a nicer cooler
Considering the fact that it has 1 fan not 2
try reapplying thermal paste to CPU
afaik the paste is okay (couldn't get radiator off, but it was "sticking" (idk if it's the right word) to cpu so i'm thinking that its still liquid)
What's the fancurve at?
