#Windows not booting on new PC
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
clearing CMOS, resetting CMOS, connecting display to motherboard doesn’t help.
Yeah, so odds are your system was not in UEFI mode when you enabled Secure Boot. Therefore, your computer will not boot and Windows will need to be reinstalled.
Go through your BIOS settings and make sure that UEFI is a boot option
i can’t even get to that screen
i press the power button and everything lights up, but no boot, no option to go into recovery mode, no option to get into bios @narrow robin
help pls.
i have this same problem if you find a fix please tell me
didn’t linus say there was a way to convert it
he had to do it for the arc challenge vr pc or something
pretty sure the mobo is dead somehow. literally had the pc less than 12 hours and enabling secure boot killed it somehow
using flashback bios didnt work
does it turn on fans in your system when you start your pc?
yes @violet magnet
Linus did a conversion for the expediency of the video. I generally don't recommend a conversion, but instead a complete reinstall.
