i just updated my drivers and it wont use my gpu at all
it only lets me user integrated
use DDU and wipe the drivers
then reinstall fresh
Here you can Download Display Driver Uninstaller, this Display Driver Uninstaller is a driver removal utility that can help you completely uninstall AMD/NVIDIA graphics card drivers and packages from your system, with...
Download DDU from Guru3d and download the latest driver for your GPU from Nvidia, AMD, or Intel from their respective download pages. Do not start DDU yet. Start Windows into Safe mode. To boot into safe mode, click on the start menu, click the power icon, hold shift and keep holding it, and then click restart. You should arrive at a blue screen with multiple options. Click on "Troubleshoot," "Advanced Options," "Startup Settings," and click on "Restart." Once you have rebooted into safe mode, run DDU and click on clean and restart. Install driver once windows boots normally. you wont fix your problem like that
lol
Then enjoy your performance currently because that's all your going to get
well i just did lmao
my gpu seems to be back now
yeah i fixed it
so i found out why i had problems
i downloaded an incompatible driver version
which was only for the 7900 series
lmao
It doesn't remove chipset drivers
Not that you need them anyway since windows installs the chipset drivers natively now
then it does the same thing amd's tool does
Pretty sure the amd tool touches the chipset drivers
Ddu doesn't
"AMD's Cleanup Utility" does remove chipset drivers
where has this info came from
myself, 5700G and RX 6600
well it has never removed any chipset drivers
and i highly doubt it would
it clearly says its for display drivers
🤷‍♂️ AMD's tool removes chipset drivers from my experience, where DDU has not
