nope, i had it setup like this: dummy router for virtual desktop with no internet
usb wifi card for internet use to play vrchat when im using vd for vr
i did change adapter priority to have this wifi card as higher priority over the ethernet port

hmm i had this sort of issue with a netgear usb device a while ago and it would only let me connect to networks with its crappy netgear software
so your using the router as an access point and you dont have a hard wired ethernet to your pc so you use a wifi extender how many ports does the router have on the back?

but if i use data or wifi tethering over usb to my computer from my phone my computer gets a strict nat
