New GPU upgrade -please help

So I recently upgraded from a 1060 to a 3060. All was well until I ran into a few issues. When trying to open up warzone, I get to the same screen every time "shader installation 1% loading player stats" and my entire pc crashes. No blue screen, just freezes indefinitely. Only way to fix it is to switch it off and on. And when trying to play fortnite - I get to the lobby screen, all is well, try to load into a game and crashes half way through the load but the game manages to close itself down and i get a generic epic games bug report pop up. I've upgraded my psu to a 750w today and I'm still getting the same issues. I've benchmarked in heaven on ultra settings and it's fine. My cpu is ryzen 5 3600. Please can someone help me.

I've also stress tested the gpu in furmark and om getting an average fps of 130

Reinstall your GPU drivers, or windows

I tried running ddu again to make sure everything was removed and I still ran into the same issue.

I also tried uninstalling afterburner and Geforce experience to make sure nothing of affecting the gpu and it still happened.

I also tried to reduce the power limit in afterburner before that tho to 70% and when I did, I got a black bar across about a 3rd of my screen.

Yeah... I really think it's just some type of windows issue

It's honeslty 10mins to do a reformat on your PC

Okay. I'll try that. I've got a friend coming round tonight with a 3070 to put into my system to see if it's the card or my pc. Do you think its worth doing that?

I've uninstaled and reinstalled warzone and done a scan and repair.

I also kept running into a kernel issue when I diagnosed the hardware failures.

Me personally could have a PC reformatted in 10-15min and be downloading all my new shit and ready to roll in a few hours

Some of my friends seem to think the pc is still looking for my old gpu and when it's not there is trying to run my games off my cpu. I can run WoW perfectly fine on 200fps which makes no sense if its running off my cpu because my cpu doesn't have integrated graphics. Do you think that's what's happening?

Out of curiosity. I'm doing a system reset now. My pc currently has the old gpu in. When do i put in the new one?

Update. I did a clean instal of windows and reinstalled warzone in both battle.net and steam. still crashing when loading the game.

May i know how did you clean install windows?

Clean install windows via 'Windows media creation tool ' using a minimum 8gb pen drive. Delete all the drives and have a fresh clean install OS

1.Do windows updates(including Microsoft products by enabling it in advanced options) and windows store updates. Uninstall unnecessary apps.Update your bios.
2.Download and install directx web setup from Microsoft official site.
3.Download vc redist x64 2015-2022 from official Microsoft site.
4.Perform clean latest AMD/Nvidia driver by going through advanced or custom options (no need to use ddu)
5.set your windows and bios power plan settings = balanced.

Sorry to say.
Do not use 'windows reset either its cloud download or local install' .

Instead download windows media creation tool from Microsoft site.
8gb usb pen drive is minimum required
Should i guide you how to clean install?
I can but i need to know your pc specs and what OS you are using right now?

It's mandatory/recommend to have atleast usb 8gb pendrive or external HDD.

Go buy them ? A 32gb or 64gb USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 are cheap everywhere

I can give 100% guarantee that i can solve your issue by clean installing OS and installing drivers,updates properly under my control through txt chat and pics.

All you need is 8gb pen drive atleast and time(based on how fast your internet speed,ssd, processor)

If this doesn't solve your issue then definitely it's going to be a hardware issue.

I unfortunately don't have a USB pen drive and all shops are closed here at the moment in UK so right now, I can't do it but i would love your help still. I'll take anything I can get at the moment.

You can easily buy 32 or 64gb 3.0 or 2.0 pen drive in local market or via online shops like amazon or something else(well you would know them)
