Didn't you just ask this question the other day? Yes but you will need to make sure the BIOS supports the CPU.

#

i did but didnt get a straight forward answe

#

andd differnt specs

sharp gyro
#

Same chipset board and CPU.

Let me look up some stuff for you.

sharp gyro
# topaz epoch how

Okay. The board does have a offline BIOS flash feature. You can follow the procedure in the manual to do this function.

topaz epoch
#

so its good for now

#

so i can buy it yes?

sharp gyro
#

Yes it should be perfectly fine.

topaz epoch
#

i assume there are no risks updating the bios on the board if it already has that exact bios?

sharp gyro
#

No. Some systems will do a checksum to see if the versions are the same, but most boards will flash it happily. Just make sure you carefully observe the procedures in the manual.

topaz epoch
#

does it say what bios it has

#

cos i dont wanna brick it

#

@sharp gyro

sharp gyro
#

No. You won't know until you get it. You won't brick the board if you follow the directions. If you do, RMA it.

topaz epoch
#

alright

#

also

#

can u reccomend me a 500w power supply on amazon?

sharp gyro
#

You need more than 500w. Personally I never recommend below 750W

topaz epoch
#

bruh

#

thats expensive tho

sharp gyro
#

Do you want to have to buy ANOTHER PSU when you eventually upgrade your CPU or GPU or would you rather front-load it so you don't need to stress about it?

topaz epoch
#

Good point honestly

#

can I have a 700w psu then or 750?

sharp gyro
#

That Corsair 650 you have is adequate honestly, but let me see what you can get.

topaz epoch
#

it's like 100 on amazon which doesn't seem realistic

You'll have to shop around. I'm not in the UK
