i bought a laptop recently, but have realized it isn't what i realistically need. i bought it because it has good specs and wasn't a bad price, but didn't realize how big it is and how bad the battery life is too. does anyone know if i'll be able to return it to best buy if i don't have the box it came in? i have everything that came inside, the manual, the screws to add storage, etc, just none of the packaging. i looked at their return policy and wasn't completely sure.

usually for laptops/electronics in general they want either sealed or with packaging. not sure if they will take it back without the original boxes/package
best to ask the store itself though if you bought it at a retail location and contact support if you bought it online
i found someone selling just the box for $10 on ebay, so i'll just do that probably
if i bought it online can i return it in store, or does it have to be shipped back?
usually they want it back through the same method of purchase but depending on which store you bought it from you can contact their support and see if they accept returns the other way
in general the advice is to contact support in these situations tbh
just give it a shot and bring it into the store with the recipt
forgot about this lol, i gave it a shot the other day and was able to return it no problem, and i got a new computer today and it's great, ty for your help
