My PC parts were all purchased within 30 days from Canada Computers. This means I can refund within 30 days. My rig is DDR4/AM4.
I realized if I refund my mobo, cpu and ram, I will only pay $100 CAD to refund and buy DDR5 instead.
I would have to unplug everything and disassemble my pc and then reassemble it again which I am down to do for the sake of a great upgrade.
SHOULD I TAKE THE CHANCE? Else after refund deadline I would have to spend $700.

DDR5 is still a new spec that manufacturers are refining. Give it a few years for them to refine and improve the process before you adopt.

I would not say unreliable, just an entirely new specification that is still being refined. It's up to you if you want to tear down and adopt an entirely new platform but I'd sit tight. What you have now is likely going to last.
