For context on the rebuild, my rig fall off my desk a little over a month ago, resulting in my motherboard cracking, my psu going dead, and my cpu and cpu cooler being ruined. All parts were replaced and were installed properly, yet theres no sign of life when trying to turn the pc on. Im 99.99% sure that all cables are in their respective spots. Im just lost and hope those who know more than i, can help.

Could you provide more context? Pictures would probably help. Also, is your case bent at all? There could be some accidental shorting between pins on the bottom of your motherboard, which would definitely not be good.
Give me a few to take a few pics of the motherboard connections. The front of the case is bent from when it fell but nothing on the motherboard itself, its installed on the standoffs as well of course.
Alright, sounds good
This is bottom of the mobo, far left connector is the front panel audio, big cable to the right is the blue usb connector, just to the right of that is what i would assme is the front panel power button cable
what are the new specs btw
Top left cable in this pic is the cpu connector, motherboard is obv in the 24 pin, cpu fan plugged into the top cpu fan slot

are you on the latest BIOS version
your 2070 isnt broken?
yeah thats the problem
Ye
if you arent on the latest bios some CPUs wont boot with some chipsets
that would work even less
What should i do then
the BIOS needs the cpu to work usually
uh i dont know the process google "bios flash without cpu amd" maybe
And this could fix my pc not drawing any sort of power at all?
i have no clue what the symptoms of cpu incompatibility are
maybe
also google if that cpu + mobo combo are compatible from the factory
The answers vary, if its a new make off the line, like mine should be, it shouldnt need a bios flashback apparently. But people are also saying to check if the "ezdebug" light stops at cpu, problem with that is the pc doesnt turn on at all
huh
have you tested screwdriver method
like touching the two power pinms
also did you triple check all your power
I got it working for the most part
Its currently updating the bios, its been about 15 min since it started but i also had to use a 250gb usb with a micro sd card in it because i cant find a usb for the life of me
So im just gonna be patient and let it do its thing
Its been an hour now
I cant find any sources that say i can safely cancel a bios flash
Its been doing the slow flash the entire time so i dont know if its even updating yet
Its 5pm
heres what my issue is i think
Im using a microsd inside of a microsd/sd card reader usb, since i cant find any USB sticks around my house, and its also 256GB in size
But i cant cancel afaik so idk what to do
did actually start flashing?
I didnt do the screwdriver thing. The issue i found was that it needs the bios updated
But that brought us here
what did you use for tutorial

He also says its safe to do it with the cpu in the pc, several others did as well
Yea
and you made the file name EXACT? like caps everything
I downloaded the newest bios as well
and you used the back port? also is there a specific port for the bios usb
yeah
he said it might cause issue with stuff being plugged in
like ram, gpu, ssd
if you dont want to take cpu out you dont have to
did you take the other stuff out
ok actually
he said slow is read
you might just want to wait a long while
and pray or whatever
I'll wait till like 7 my time (an hour and a half) before i pull it and pray for thr best
i would NOT pull it if its still flashing
it will almost certainly just get bricked
actually
if read is reading from the usb then it might be ok to just take power it down before it starts writing
but not take the usb drive out first because it might just decide to write whatever it read to the bios chip instantly
btw did you mean 5600x?
because i cannot find anything about a 5600
