Yo vlc on my android vanished all of the playlists and song selectabilty after I update the phone. Is there a way to fix it without losing the playlist memory

Tried the songs on other media players, that worked but I need VLC for my old playlists and extra equalizer. I tried clearing the cache, that didn't work. If I clear the data my playlists will disappear. I checked the file routing and it looks fine

What is the file format of your songs?
Have you checked that VLC has permission to your folder where you store your music in your Settings?

Some are mp3s some are m4as. But it's not detecting any media including videos even though it is pathed to scan all of them
