Anyone can give me some ideas as to why my PC is restarting whenever I launch a game and try playing it. I have made sure all connections are tight. Swapped the power cable. Updated all my drivers and updated windows. Ran a virus scan. And temps are normal too. My PSU is a Corsair CX 750M. I think it’s around 6-7 years old. Does that mean my PSU needs to be replaced?
#PC keeps restarting.

Well if it’s linked to a game start I would look into the gpu
Windows 10 automatically reboot on BSOD so you might have that, you should look for crash dump files
In C:\Windows\minidumps
I checked the folder and its empty.
Hum
When it restarts it gives me no warning nothing at all.
Well that’s windows to you
You might get some informations in eventlog.msc in the system log part
I’d try running a cpu benchmark like cinebench to check if the system handle non-gpu power spike and then a gpu benchmark like 3dmark to see what happens
If it crash on 3D cleaning drivers with DDU could help, I’d try cleaning the stuff also and reseating the gpu once or twice
Computer shut down 2:02:58
Check the detail tab
I ran userbenchmark and the pc was fine.
I'll try reseating the gpu
Hey, i think reseating the gpu fixed the issue. I feel stupid for not trying that.
Thank you!
