#Bent cpu socket pins
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Check, if there are any loose pins.
Or if some pins are a liitle bit thinner than the rest.
Then I wouldn't recommend to use this CPU.
It could end like an RTX 4090
How do i check that
I dont have a magnifying glass
look, if any of the pins are different then the rest.
I can send a picture?
then I would recommend to go to a computer store and let they check you'r CPU.
They still feel a little bent but much less than before
Ok
but if it's a low end CPU, it should be fine.
There are no places open should i just call a store
Its a used i7-5820k🗿
ask friends or in stores, if they know someone, who is an expert in this.
ok.
Or send email
yeah, sure.
but I recommend to let this get a check.
it's better, than frying you're CPU.
My dad used to build pcs
Works at a local network provider
I will
If he cant help i will just call a local tech store tomorrow morning first things first
that's a good idea.
At school🗿
I’ve had problems with this motherboard
Bios doesnt boot the motherboard just gives a light
FBIOS light
No idea what it means
Gonna have to deal with that after i get this done
When i bought it the seller gave 4x4gb sticks but didnt tell one of them is broken
probably, because of the pins or the CPU:
So i tried it with each one: didnt boot bios
but I can't help you with that one, sorry.
Oh no that i did myself💀
I dropped the cpu on the pins
that could be the problem.
Yeah u helped enough already
Could be
Could be the ram
Could be transistors ig
Or memory
depends on the manufacturer.
Cuz fans arent starting
okay.
