Ain't much? Bro, u litteraly have a 70 (?) Inch TV as a SECOND monitor
Sound bar and everything
It's a 50 inch
And the sound bar is a hand me down.
I mainly use Bose headphones too unless I'm watching a movie or something.
Yeah. Also hand me downs. I actually bought the desk, mousepad, PC, microphone, VR headset... All with my money working as a cashier.
And I can't use them on the PC π€£
Damn, ur one lucky guy
Nah. I just know how to manage my money.
And pick up shifts
The TV was a Christmas gift. The sound bar was a hand me down. That wooden drawer, also hand me down, I've had it for ages. Water bottle is also a hand me down π
Mic arm was a Christmas gift
Damn, I'm trying to get a PC for Christmas. Doubt I'd convince my folks though π
Here's the PC
Same!
Hate the fact I can't afford them
But my next build is gonna be the exact opposite of this one. This one has zero RGB
My next build is gonna be a big boy. ROG Helios case
In my case is mainly because I don't care about top of the range stuff. Since I like usual builds might as well make it small
Hell, you might be able to take it with you π€£π€£
That A4-H2O? I totally could put it in a duffel bag
Or a portable display. Cause those are a thing.
Yeah, but they are expensive af
Asus makes one that's like 15 inches and can do 144hz iirc
For portable stuff u don't need to go overboard
Leave the 144 setup for at home
Maybe see if some crazy guy with a 3D printer made a support or some kind for a 15" screen
Make that boi a THICK home made laptop π€£π€£
Just keep saving man itβll even feel better knowing it was your hard earned money that got you the pc
Literally me with my builds.
And once it all comes in the mail, it's like Christmas.
I bought my first console by myself as a kid after saving up while every penny and I felt so proud of my self after knowing after all my hard work I got what I wanted and was happy
Not an option rn. I'm in senior year of College. Only work I do is work my ass to learn π€£
Now I ether get my parents support for one as gift for Christmas+my birthday or I wait untill next year when I get a job (but that comes to the cost of the possibility of GPUs to shoot up in price again)
I built my second PC working at $8 an hour
A story of dedication and perseverance
I bet you was proud Af after too
It was $1000 at the time. Ryzen 5 3600, 16GB DDR4-3600, RTX 2060. This was in October 2020 before the shortage.
And yes I was.
Damn, imagine beeing in a working economy π€£
I'm gonna buy this next build's components in chunks.
In chunks?
Like first I'll buy the case, PSU and cooler.
Then, later on, the motherboard, CPU and RAM.
Huh, ok
Then, later on and when stock improves.. the GPU
Yes. I'm gunning for a 4090 Strix. Actually this next build is all Strix.
Sheesh, I wish I had that kind of buget for an entire PC
Let alone a GPU π€£
How much was the 4090 again?
It's gonna take me a while cause I got car insurance to pay for.
While I do make $11 an hour now, about 40% gets taken out by mom and dad for car insurance.
Plus I pay for my own gas. And I've got a credit card for my subscriptions
That still leaves u like 800$
Ur good bro. Out here a full time job starts from 500$
If ur lucky you'll get a mouthy salary close to 1000$
And again, how much was a 4090?
$2000 for a Strix.
Nice
The only 4090s for sale here are 3000$
Or 2400 for that water-cooled one
For some reason it's cheaper π€·ββοΈ
Have you currently got a PC?
Yes. But I'm building a new one
