yeah
it keeps giving me these pop ups
when i try to end the main process using task manager it says access is denied
i navigated to the folder when i finally found it and couldnt delete it because the file was being used
terminating the process using cmd bar as administrator didnt help either
Reinstall the os
are u serious
its not a program
its 3 files
that cause this
and its not even being identified as a program
Yeah reinstall windows
Well do you wanna get rid of it?
Dont reinstall windows, start into safe mode and remove it.
yeah, that
You know how does one get rid of something that was once there but no longer there now in safe mode?
If the path doesn't exist there is nothing to remove
that's the equivalent of hunting a deer with a nuke instead of a rifle
You can't shoot what's not there
well it obviously is there, how would that popup work else
But then why isn't it able to removed in normal mode?
because it's being used
i tried
running in safe mode
deleted the folder but
that was like
backup stuff
so i cant find the main folder
heres the path
that shows on the task manager
but its non existent
even with hidden folders option
reopen task manager?
what for
when i try to manually open that folder by inserting the link to it in the explorer
delete the folder and registries
it says access denied
access denied
do taskkill /IM rsEngineSvc.exe in elevated cmd
mistake
?
Maybe the boot recovery console thingy?
wdym
Why overcomplicate a simple solution nuke it and be done with it.
basically it's like safe mode on steroids
how to nuke it
how do i do that
he wants you to reinstall everything
This method only works on Windows 10/11 PCs. Please ask for other methods if using a Mac, Linux, or earlier versions of Windows.

- Insert an 8GB or higher USB stick into your PC. Format the USB to FAT32 or exFAT before installation. Formatting will ERASE ALL DATA on the USB. (Right click the USB > Format > File System: FAT32 > Quick Format > Start.)
- Download the Windows MCT (Media Creation Tool) from the link above.
- Run the MCT. Select "Create installation media for another PC." Follow the prompts to select your USB flash drive as your media and create the installer.
- Once complete, your USB is now ready to install Windows on another PC. Power down that PC. Insert the USB installer. Boot the PC.
WARNING: When installing Windows on a new PC, ensure only one drive (the drive you want the OS on) is plugged in. Unplug all other drives prior to installing Windows.
no dont yet
search for "advanced startup"
your pc will restart into windows boot manager
you have to navigate to the console thingy
then it's only CMD, but there are no programs running at all, so you can do anything you want
There is no way that AV starts in safe mode. not even bitdefender does so you are doing something wrong.
certainly is some interesting software you got there, go ahead and search for "rsenginesvc" on google
50|50 this is a virus | this is a part of windows
Its most definitely a virus, you need to clean out the malware and youll be fine
Download and run the following:
Rkill
Adwcleaner
tdsskiller
Clean out anything that show suspicious
Yeah sometimes a nuke option is much easier 🤷♂️
And safer
One of the reasons my OS disk is almost clean of everything and can replace in a heart beat
okay i reinsalled that and it fixed it
and i switched to windows 10
i think that one works for me better
Thank you
tbh... u had the only real advice as it turns out
When in doubt k.i.s.s. keep it stupid simple.
