i use the first gen magic mouse so its via batteries
and yes that is an airpod pro (first gen) box in the first pick
Not so much an aesthetic rating, but have you considered the external SSD “mod” for that iMac? (Assuming it boots from Rust)
In terms of aesthetics, the only criticism I have is that I’m not sure I love the mic placing. Other than that it’s very clean!! Solid 8/10 in progress
thanks :o
um were do you think the mic should be placed?
not reaaally sure, maybe to the back right, tucked away when you're not using it? not sure how that angle would work out with the imac.... hmm...
im considering getting an external SSD but im waiting for the prices to go down
the one i have my eye on is not going down on price...
Keep in mind you're otherwise limited by the iMac. The crucial, samsung, sandisk USB SSD's are all pretty killer. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08FSZT2J7 this 1tb crucial x6 for $60 would likely be more than enough drive for that mac
How much can you carry between the tips of your fingers? With the Crucial X6 Portable SSD, the answer is: A lot! Whether you’re downloading videos for offline travel, organizing family photos, collaborating with classmates, or heading off on a great adventure, the Crucial X6 is affordable, and re...
the "mod" I was talking about was a "backpack" shelf can find these on amazon either in spendy, trendy twelvesouth flavor or... <$20 Chinese-ium. I prefer the latter, personally.
that way, once you install MacOS on the external, set your default boot drive to the external, and mount it... It's pretty much "internal" lolol
that looks pretty cool acually
because i want to get a macbook pro later next year (the 2023 refresh) i dont think spending money on my imac is necessary
thank you for the knowledge though
I hear you. I recently upgraded from a 2013 retina macbook pro to a 16" m1 pro and.... yeah it's worth the soul-crushing amount of $ I paid
lol
you seen smart and a tech nerd like me :)
i love my fellow tech nerds :)
thanks, friend! good luck finishing the setup to your liking!!! I think it looks awesome 🙂
I would say a solid 5
